All Shook Up

Im all shook up...   Mm mm oh, oh, yeah, yeah!

When Josh Anderson, age 13, finds out he has to go to Chicago to stay with his dad, he’s not exactly happy. But when he arrives at the airport, he’s just devastated. His father-who used to be a scatterbrained, but pretty normal, shoe salesman—has become a sideburn-wearing, hip-twisting, embarrassing Elvis impersonator. Josh is determined to keep his dad’s identity a secret, but on his very first day at his new school, a post-it-note appears on his locker. It’s signed Elvisly Yours, and instead of a name, a sneering purple smiley face. The secret is out. And when his dad is invited to perform at a special 50s concert at his school, Josh is forced to take some major action. This is a funny book, but I know I have read better... But overall, this, from Jellybeans, would get a 7 out of 10 stars.

P.S. I wanted to post my book report, but I couldn't figure out how...
