QB?! }:{o

The Bears have just selected Dan Lefouver out of Central Michigan another QB! What does this mean? Is Cutler out or is this just another set up for a trade for a good wide receiver? Or maybe they are waiting for something to happen? Will they switch each other out? Let's wait and see this upcoming season.

The Draft

The draft can be one of the best things of the NFL offseason. The Rams took Sam Bradford from Oklahoma after not playing this season because of a injury to the shoulder (not very good for a QB) after surgery. On other hands one of my favorite college football players Ndamukong Suh out of Nebraska. He was picked by the Detriot Lions second overall. For Notre Dame fans out there Jimmy Clausen went to the Seattle Seahawks. Last but not least Tim Tebow was picked by the Denver Broncos to replace Kyle Orton after the Cutler trade. ONE LAST THING, Bears fans they are improving the offensive line and the wide reciever positions.Hopefully the Bears can make the playoffs this year.

Upsetting!

The baseball season is underway and for you Cub fans out there I know how you feel. Not Very Excited!!!They have started the season 5-10. They are also second to last in the division. We all know they need to improve. It was a good choice adding Byrd to the mix but I say get rid of Fukedome he's just a waste of money.Try to turn it around Cubs!!

Where the Red Fern Grows

A touching story about two dogs, and a boy named Billy, Where the Red Fern Grows is an amazing book. This novel is a classic, copyright 1961, and is awesomely awesome. I struggled with this book for a little while, because the beginning was not that all interesting. But later in the book, maybe about 30 pages in, I got really interested. I could not put the book down. I was reading during meals, during homework (I get easily distracted) and even under the covers in my bedroom with a flashlight. But I finally finished the book, and it was the first classic I ever read, and a good one at that. You should really give this book a try!

Sahara Special

4.5 stars for Sahara Special.
I, Jellybeans read this book under a request. This wonderful book is about a fifth grade girl, who's secret ambition is to become a writer. She keeps a journal type binder in the library, and is constantly adding new additions to it. Sahara's father left her and her mother, and now Sahara is writing letters to him, but has no idea where to mail them, so just keeps them in her desk. One day, they come tumbling out, and Sahara is entitled to special needs classes in the hallways. Her new perky teacher, Ms. Pointy, is told about Sahara's writing dreams, and gives out free tips about writing. Ms. Pointy also tells the class many stories, and asks them to figure out the moral.
Sahara Special gets you thinking, as it did for me, and has many unexpected twists in it. READ IT IF YOU WANT TO LIVE! (Ok so you will live if you do not read it, but I just HAD to say that. ) :)

Circle of Magic Series by Tamora Pierce

Awesome books! There are 4 books in the first series and 4 in the next series. Read them all! They are easy reads, but they are really good.

This series is a collection of fantasy books about four children: Sandry, Briar, Daja, and Tris, with lots of magic. Teachers from Winding Circle, a phenomenal magic insitution, find all of them and the four children are taken there. They each specialize in a certain kind of magic: Daja in metalcraft, Briar in plants, Tris in weather, and Sandry in weaving. Soon after they arrive, disaster strikes Winding Circle, and Sandry must use her skills to save them. Read this series to find out about her adventures!!!

By the way, I read these a while ago ... but I still remember them!!! They're really really good.

Jellicoe Road

omg! Jellicoe Road is the most awesome book! I just finished it - it took me 2 days to read. I read 300 pages yesterday.
Anyways, it's about a girl named Taylor who ends up leading her school in this territorial wars thing. Her mom abandoned her at 7-Eleven when she was a little kid. Hannah (a lady who helps at the school) came and picked her up and took her to her school. When Taylor was 14, she ran away from the school in search of her mother, but a young boy from the rival school in the wars followed her. They got to be friends, but later he called up the school and a person came and picked them up when she was very close to her mother. This boy is now the leader of the other school in the wars. Read this book to find out about Taylor's experiences. It's a book with everything --- excitement, adventure, friendship, romance ....

Hola... With a Book on the side

Hello! I will be your waitress, er reviewer, my name is Anna.

Our special today is maximum ride, prepared by our chef, um author, James Patterson.

I'll leave you to look at the menus, *cough, cough* I mean book reviews.

Yes, yes, maximum ride is an exciting, action packed novel about a group of kids who are 98%... Some people might say normal, but the other 2% play a big deal, they, um have wings. I feel that more people can relate to this series because each character from the flock (what they call themselves) is different.

Some may be like Max, the leader.

Or maybe you sorta keep to yourself like Fang.

Are you blind? So is Iggy.

Nudge likes to talk... The nudge channel: all nudge, all the time.

Like to blow stuff up, and you're... Gassy? Gasman

Are you, well, an angel? You're like Angel.

There are six books in the series and being a bird kid may seem to be fly, but you never know when an "Eraser" will pop up...

You'd like this book? Well here you go.
