Bras and Broomsticks

Oh I have a very messed up life. My YOUNGER sister is a witch, and I am not! She can do spells and everything. With potions even! And a spellbook. But no brooms. apparently a myth? I'm 13 years old, my name is Rachel, and I want to use my 12 year old sister, Miri's powers for my own good. but Miri refused. But one horrible event brings us closer... our divorced father is getting MARRIED! I know we should be happy, but we are not. STB (Soon to be step mom) is horrible. And her little daughter Prissy, cute, yet highly annoying. And Spoiled. But STB acts wonderful around Dad, and turns devil when we are alone. Ugh! After some convincing, Miri and I come up with some ideas, soon to get Dad to hate STB and break off the wedding! But do they work? Nooooo. What now? And, I am kinda obsessive over Raf, this adorable boy! He is in our school fashion show, and I got Miri to put a dancing spell on me to make me fab! I get in the fashion show, easy, and my partner is RAF!!!!!! I am beyond happy now. I do GREAT!

But when right before the show, disaster.

Umbrella Summer

Well, no one has posted in like 2 weeks so I shall post about a book I read yesterday. Umbrella Summer by Lisa Graff is about 10 year-old Annie Richards, a girl who knows that there are a ton of things to look out for-food poisoning, car crashes, chicken pox, etc. Being careful is something very important to her, even if she has to give up some of the things she used to love like bicycle races, hot dogs, and obsticle courses. Everyone keeps telling her not to be as careful as she is and that she is just fine, but that's what people said about Annie's brother, Jared, before he died. A new neighbor moves in across the street and through ups and downs in Annie's world, she realizes she has to do as her neighbor tells her to-she must "close her umbrella".

Heeey! Jellybeans here, and SUMMER IS FINALLY HERE!!!

The thing about summer is that you always get so excited, and then bored! what's up with that? Congratulations to all who successfully passed an grade, and even more happiness to all of the 5th graders who are now officially sixth graders!!!

AND A BIG BIG BIG SHOUT OUT TO TEACHERS! LIKE THE AWESOME TEACHER I HAD THIS YEAR!!! SHE WAS GREAT AND IS JUST AS BIG ON BOOKS AS ME.

Heaven looks a lot like the Mall

I have been hit in the head during dodgeball! What fun. Except, now I am in the hospital, and I am in Heaven, or at least that's what the signs in the mall say. Nail head. No really, there is a guy in my heaven with a nail in his head, or Drill Bit as he says. So am I dead or what? I thought all my dead friends and family would meet me. Nope. I go to a lost and found with Nail boy, and he shows me a shopping bag, full of the most important stuff I have ever bought at the mall. 

Now I am reliving everything I ever did that was important of had something to do with the items. But before I was in a coma, I had to write an essay, for college applications. One question. Who are you? I am a girl, I have weight issues, and I have an older brother. That's not the right answer. Who AM I??? 

In this story, 16 year old Tessa had a shocking gym accident, and finds herself in heaven, and she discovers who she is, while in a coma.

Freaky Monday

And you thought Friday was freaky? Ya, right. Compared to Monday, Friday is completely normal! Whoa. I just got a mega headache! Uh oh, whats happening??? (fall to floor)

My name is Hadley Fox, I'm thirteen years old. I really wish my Eighth Grade English Teacher, Ms. Pitt, would follow the lesson plan. Now I am completely freaking out, because today I need to give an Oral Presentation on To Kill A Mockingbird, and I am unprepared. For the first time in my life, me, with the 4.3 GPA and straight A's. I am unprepared. So this one time, Ms. Pitt decides to stay with the plan? She now knows I forgot, and just hands me the book and tells me good luck. I automatically turn to page 139, and read a quote from the father, Atticus. I am embarrassed now also! Some idiot yelled out that they want me to move and my big sister, Tatum to come up. She has her license, and is awesome. I stutter in the middle of the quote, and Ms. Pitt helps me finish it. " 'Until you climb into his skin and walk around in it' " The lights flicker. I felt a jolt, Ms. Pitt and I just stood there, and suddenly, I say something, but I hear not my own voice, but Ms. Pitt's. I see I am standing NEXT TO MYSELF. I see myself, and I look like Ms. Pitt. I AM IN MY TEACHERS BODY. AND SHE IS IN MINE.  WE HAVE TO FIX THIS BEFORE THE DANCE, SO I CAN FINALLY SEE ZANE HENDERSON, THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!!!
HELP ME!!!

(yawn, that was exhausting) I get up and wipe myself from the floor. "Ah, that was quite a noisy trance. Hadley seems to scream a lot. Oh well, I am well rested, and now I am ready to go possum hunting with my pet olive!!!"
