SHUG
12 year old Annemarie Wilcox, or as her family calls her, Shug, has started to think that nothing is worse then age 12. Annemarie is pretty sure that there is nothing good or exciting about her. And now Annemarie is starting junior high, and the friends she holds dear aren't acting just so dear anymore. Especially Mark, her best friend. One day, Annemarie looks at him, and she actually sees him. Not just the boy down the street, but he is Mark, the friend. Everything is changing so fast, and Annemarie just wants it to be the same as it used to. But it's not. How is Annemarie supposed to prepare for tomorrow when she can't even keep up with today? Annemarie is not ready for all the change about to happen to her. How can middle school be so different and change a person in so many ways?

Jenny Han did a wonderful job writing this book. It is funny, captivating, and realistic. What happens in this book could happen to anyone!

The Mother Daughter Book Club

Book 1
The book clubis about to get
a makeover....
Even if Megan would rather be at the mall, Cassidy is late for hockey practice, Emma's already read every book in existence, and Jess is missing her mother too much to care, the new book club is scheduled to meet every month.
But what begins as a mom-imposed ritual of reading Little Women soon helps four unlikely friends navigate the drama of middle school. From stolen journals, to secret crushes, to a fashion-fiasco first dance, the girls are up to their Wellie boots in drama. They can't help but wonder: What would Jo March do?
Acclaimed author Heather Vogel Frederick will girls everywhere in a novel about the fabulousness of fiction, family, and friendship.

BOOK 2
This year the mothers have a big surprise in store for Emma, Jess, Cassidy, and Megan: They've invited snooty Becca Chadwick and her mother to join the book club!

But there are bigger problems when Jess finds out that her family may have to give up Half Moon Farm. In a year filled with skating parties, a disastrous mother-daughter camping trip, and a high-stakes fashion show, the girls realize that it's only through working together -- Becca included -- that they can save Half Moon Farm.

Acclaimed author Heather Vogel Frederick captures the magic of friendship and the scrapes along the way in this sequel to The Mother-Daughter Book Club, which will enchant daughters and mothers alike.

Book 3
Jess has received an anonymous scholarship to a prestigious boarding school, but that means leaving home. And ontop of all the girls homework, they are required to write letters to a pen pal! One more big shock... Mrs. Sloane-Kinkaid (Cassidys mother) is having a baby. Cassidy is not happy about this at ALL. So ontop of letters to a pen pal, she has to write letters to the baby! And, Jess has to deal with some snooty roommate, Savannah. She is really mean, just like Becca Chadwick used to be. Can this year get any worse???

I think you should read these books. Guys, its more of a girlish book. But sure, go ahead, read it.

Secret Series

HEEEY!!! Jellybeans here. I just finished reading the second book of the Secret Series, by Pseudonymous Bosch. CRAZY GOOD BOOK!!!! I have not yet read the third book. BUT I SHALL!!!!!

The second book, If you're Reading this, It's too late, was a phenomenal book. It was just as exciting as the first book. Here in the sequel, there are different ideas, like a funny thing made inside of horse waste (a polite way to say POOP) that is rather slight (a polite way of saying SHORT) and has vast zest (a polite way to say HUGE APPETITE) for food. This unusual (a polite way of saying STRANGE AND WEIRD) creature is called a homunculus. I know, funny word, right?!?! Well anyway, it is rather aged, ( a polite way of saying OLD) and can only be summoned by this thing, a Sound Prism. YEP!!!!
ADIOS PEOPLE.
