Radiance

Riley has now crossed into the afterlife, into a place called Here, when the time is always Now. Her life is continuing as if she never died- she lives in her same house, and neighborhood, but nobody alive is there- Only the dead neighbors, and so forth. But Riley learn that the afterlife is not a life of leisure when she is summoned before The Council, and given a job, as a Soul Catcher. Riley and her teacher, Bodhi, return to earth for Riley's first assignment, that many older and wiser people before her have failed at. Her first assignment is on Radiant-Boy, a 10 year old ghost who has been haunting an England castle for years. Many older and wiser Soul Catchers have tried and failed to catch the Radiant-Boy, but that was before Riley was here...

DOES SHE FAIL?
DOES SHE SUCCEED?
DOES SHE DIE?
That's for me to know and you to find out. :)

87 out of 100 stars- This book was a really quick read, but still had great content.

Kansas? #1?

Last night Kansas was knocked down by rival Kansas state. The score was 84-68? number one Kansas lost by 16 to a non-ranked team? You may ask "Is this Kansas team still ranked number one?" YES! They are but should they? In my opinion number two Ohio State is a better team than Kansas. I say this because the only lose Ohio State has suffered is to tenth ranked Wisconsin. Overall Ohio State has a harder schedule than Kansas. Also Ohio State has a better defense and players; like Jared Sullinger. This is why I think Ohio State should be a higher ranking or number one.

Project 17

Upon Hathorne Hill, sits Danvers State Hospital. Built in 1878, but soon closed in 1992, the abandoned "insane asylum" is said to be the place where lobotomy was born. On the eve of the hospital's destruction, six nervous teens break in to spend the night and film a movie about what they experience. For Derik, it's an opportunity of a lifetime to win a filmmaking contest and save himself from a future of flipping burgers at his family diner, as a tradition. For the others, it's a chance to be on TV, or a night with no parents, or a chance to earn some extracurricular credits for college. But what starts as a dare quickly becomes a nightmare. Behind the crumbling walls, down every dark secret passageway, and every deserted room, they will unravel the mysteries of the souls who once lived there and the spirits who still might.

This chilling tale is definitely one of Laurie Faria Stolarz's best novels.
5/5 stars, of course.
*Sorry, Mackenzie, still going with the scares!!!*

Black is for Beginnings

The chilling series continues... in graphic novel form!
(May not seem too appealing, but still REALLY AWESOME!)
Future-telling nightmares, brushes with death, killers chasing her, Stacey knows that being a witch isn't all that great. Now all Stacey really wants to do is work things out with Jacob, and figure out her future. But before Jacob and Stacey can  face their future, they must face the past, that Jacob doesn't even remember. Things from the past reappear, like Jacob's old clingy girlfriend, and Maura's death.

(Maura is the girl that Stacey used to babysit like, 6 years ago, who died.)

Not as actiony as the other books, but it's still cool!

Red is for Remembrance

I know you're alone...
Broken-hearted by her boyfriends tragic death, Stacey struggles through her first year of college, hoping that somewhere, anywhere, Jacob is alive. Stacey's nightmares are back again, and haunted with ghosts and misery. They reflect how she feels. Stacey's spells bring her closer to Porsha- a troubled girl with nightmares like Stacey, dreaming of death- and finding a mysterious boy in danger. But to save him, it shall take all the magic and strength that they have, and possibly even cost them their lives.
O.o
o.O
Scaaaaaary!
:D

This is another book in the Blue is for Nightmares series, and then next is Black is for Beginnings.
5/5 stars.
Again, a slight surprise at the end!!!

Silver is for Secrets

I'll make you pay...
Now, Stacey is done with high school, and she and her friends, including her boyfriend Jacob, have rented a beach cottage for the summer. All the secrets, stalkers, and stress are gone. But soon Stacey's nightmares return, predicting the gruesome death of a mysterious girl with many secrets, Clara. And now Jacob, the only one who totally understands Stacey, with her magic and her nightmares, is keeping secrets too. Is Jacob protecting Stacey? Or betraying her? Who can she trust now? Is everything over?
